for their subsidiary in the Netherlands, counting 40 employees and leader on the Dutch market with an annual turnover of over 14M €. Holding sole powers of representation and reporting to the Group’s Board of Directors Europe, the Managing Director will be leading the subsidiary in the Netherlands. S/he will be responsible for planning and implementing the long-term strategy as well as organizing and supporting daily operations in line with the company values and business strategy.

 

Major responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the operations of the subsidiary and set the overall strategic direction for the Dutch market.
  • Further develop the company’s business model in particular by using the rental offerings as well as Digital Services and Products solutions.
  • Consolidate market leader position by increasing the presence, brand awareness and further developing sales and service structures.
  • Support the Sales Manager by providing advice on sales strategy and approach in order to continue the development of the business and improve sales processes and methods.
  • Assist the Technical Service Manager in further improving the technical and after-sales business processes.
  • Together with the Finance Manager, set budgets, forecasts and periodically assess the subsidiary’s financial performance and take appropriate actions accordingly.
  • Further increase efficiency of processes.
  • Ensure reporting and follow-up on the KPI’s to gauge performance in all areas
  • Professionalize the usage of the current CRM solution and SAP modules in order to improve efficiency.
  • Represent the company towards the market, the employees and the local authorities.
  • Ensure periodical reporting of results to the Group’s Board of Directors.

 

Profile requirements:

 

  • Sound experience in sales oriented general management roles ideally within the Horeca or similar industries in B to B environments.
  • Good technical understanding and strong knowledge of general sales discipline and methodology.
  • Relevant experience in the Dutch market.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, ideally with experience in a dealer/direct sales combination business model.
  • Natural leader and strong communicator able to build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers and staff.
  • Leadership ability in a lean organizational structure.
  • A proven successful track record, meeting or exceeding sales objectives
  • Proactive, solution oriented and entrepreneurial mindset with a can-do attitude
  • Strive for excellence and high-quality service delivery.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Expert with all Microsoft Office applications & and at least one CRM system.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is a must and, ideally, also a good level in German.
